This Privacy Policy explains what information SarkariReady collects, why, and your rights. We respect your privacy under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

Information we collect

• Job-alert details you provide: when you subscribe, your email and/or mobile number, and optional preferences (qualification, state, sectors, name). These are used only to send the alerts you asked for.
• On-device data: jobs you "Save" are stored only in your browser (localStorage) on your device — they are never sent to our servers.
• Usage data: standard analytics (pages viewed, device type, approximate region) to operate and improve the site.

How we use it

To deliver the job alerts you opted into, to operate and improve the site, and to show advertising. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies & advertising

Right now we use only essential cookies/local storage (for example, to remember your light/dark theme and to keep the admin login working). We do not run third-party analytics or tracking. If in future we show ads (for example Google AdSense), third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits — at that point we will ask for your consent and you can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings.

Children (under 18)

This service is intended for users aged 18 and above (most government jobs require a minimum age of 18). We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child under 18 without verifiable parental consent, as required by the DPDP Act, 2023. If you are under 18, please use the site with a parent or guardian and do not submit any personal details (such as your email for alerts). If you believe a child's data has been collected, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights (DPDP Act)

• Unsubscribe from alerts any time using the link in each message.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.

Data security & retention

We use reasonable safeguards and keep your data only as long as needed to provide the alerts you requested. If you are under 18, please use the site with guardian consent.
