Government Job Scam Alerts — Protect Yourself from Fraud

Every year lakhs of job-seekers are cheated in the name of a government job. This page is free and made to protect you from every common scam — read it and share it with friends.

The golden rule: no government recruitment ever takes money in exchange for a job.

The Most Common Scams — and How to Avoid Them

If they ask for money or a fee — it's fraud

Any agent, call or website saying "your job is fixed, just pay this much" is 100% fraud. A government fee is paid ONLY on the official site during application — never into anyone's personal account.

Never give your OTP or password to anyone

Never share a bank, Aadhaar or form OTP/password — even if the caller claims to be an officer. The moment you share an OTP your account can be emptied.

Trust only the official .gov.in / .nic.in site

Fake look-alike sites are created all the time. Always check for the official domain (.gov.in, .nic.in). We link the official source on every post — apply only from there.

Beware fake result / admit-card sites

Checking a result, admit card or answer key is always free and only on the official site. Any site saying "pay to see your result" is a fraud.

Fake Telegram / WhatsApp offers

Telegram/WhatsApp messages promising "direct joining", "job without exam" or "seat confirmed" are lies. A government job always comes through an exam or merit.

"Guaranteed job" = a lie

Anyone promising a "100% sure job" or "back-door entry" is running a money trap. Nobody can guarantee a government job.

Never pay through an unknown payment link

Don't pay a fee via a link received on WhatsApp/SMS. Pay the application fee only inside the official portal, while applying.

Share your personal details carefully

Don't give your Aadhaar, bank details or documents to an unknown form or person. Enter them only in the official application.

What to do if you have been cheated

Immediately call your bank to block the account/card, and call the cyber-crime helpline 1930 or file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in. The sooner you report, the higher the chance of recovering your money.

Remember: a real government job comes only through hard work and the official route — never through shortcuts. Don\'t give your money or trust to the wrong hands.
