Corrections Policy — How We Fix Mistakes

A wrong date or a wrong eligibility line in government-job information can cost someone a job they were entitled to apply for. Accuracy is the most serious responsibility this site has. Even so, mistakes happen — and when one does, we fix it quickly and say so.

How to report a mistake. Tell us through the Contact page: send the link to the article, what is wrong, and — if you have it — the official source that shows the correct information.

What we do about it. We re-check the claim against the official notification or website. If the error is real we correct it the same day, and where a fact has changed materially we add a "Corrected on [date]" note so readers can see what moved.

What we never do. We do not edit quietly to hide that something was wrong, and we do not change a page's date just to make it look fresh. A date changes only when the content genuinely changes.
