HPRCA's CBT syllabus for teacher recruitment covers three posts — Physical Education Teacher (PET), Teacher (Physical Education) and Shastri/Sanskrit Teacher. Three posts, three syllabi — one page
HPRCA has published a separate Computer-Based Test (CBT) syllabus document for each of the three teacher posts. All three follow the same shape: Part 1 tests the subject of your essential qualification, Part 2 is General Awareness — and the seven General Awareness components are identical across the three posts, so that preparation carries over whichever post you applied for.
1. Physical Education Teacher (PET) — subject units
Each unit expands into sub-topics in the official document — for example, Foundations includes the meaning, aims and objectives of physical education and its relationship with the biological and social sciences.
